Walt Disney and Yash Raj Production’s joint venture ‘Roadside Romeo’, written and directed by Hansraj, would mark Bollywood’s first foray into the animation world.
This is the first Bollywood animatied Hindi film. The main voice cast include Saif Ali Khan as the lead character Romeo and Kareena Kapoor as the love interest Laila.
Walt Disney Studios has partner-up with Yash Raj Films to co-produce a Hindi-language CG animated film. Roadside Romeo, featuring romance, song and dance in the typical Bollywood fashion, yes any Bollywood film is incomplete without the spicy dance jhatkas – matkas and after all Indian audience will not get value for their money till they watch the item songs and heroines dancing to such tunes.
It also features the voice of javed akhtar and surprisingly, all the technology work is done exclusively in India. Movie is directed and written by another promising talent Jugal Hansraj. This venture along with Walt Disney Pictures is expected to leave film followers of all ages entertained and animated like never before. “Roadside Romeo†certainly seems set to become a land mark.
