Bet Awards 2010

The 10th annual 2010 Bet Awards were held on   Sunday, June 27, 2010 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and as usual, some of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry came out to be a part (no, not apart) of the festivities. Awards are given in several categories encompassing music, movies and sports. Leading in nominations is hip hop icon Jay-Z with five nods. Following with four nominations each are Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Trey Songz and Melanie Fiona. Music legend Prince will be receiving the 2010 BET Lifetime Achievement Award. Grammy winning artist John Legend will receive the Humanitarian Award.
