Aamir gets ‘Ghajini’ gold statuette

Indians believe in living life king size and they do so in real life too, our Bollywood industries Producers not only have a golden heart but also believe in presenting gold to their friends and collegues.Especially every producer is not so lucky to work with the power house of talent and an institute in himself yes The very ‘Aamir khan’. Madhu Mante, who co-produced the super hit film ‘Ghajini’ has presented an Oscar-sized gold statuette worth Rs. 8 million to the one and only Bollywood and the most talked about star Aamir Khan. Indians believe in living life the Maharaja style and they do so in real life too. The statuete was designed specially to resemble the star’s look in the action thriller, “eight-pack-abs included”, said Mantena. The statuette has reportedly cost the producer close to Rs.7-8 million. Mantena gave it to Aamir earlier this week, at a party held to celebrate the film’s success.
“It has a certain amount of other metals to make it mouldable. Solid gold wouldn’t allow the identical ‘Ghajini’ shape. But the idea was to create an Oscar-sized statue exclusively for ‘Ghajini’. Aamir knew he was getting a trophy. But he didn’t know it would be golden and with his ‘Ghajini’ look. He was overwhelmed”. Director A.R. Murugadoss was given a statue too.
