Such remarks like the one George Bush made recently about India ” India is responsible regarding the global food crisis” such remarks by so called the big shot of developed countries are absolutely cheap and far away from the truth. As a matter of fact It is other way round — Is it true that Chinese and Indians are responsible for the global shortage of food.
George Bush loves him some corn.
The “logic” due to Zooming incomes, they are consuming more causing global shortage is far from truth. Total consumption of food grain like wheat, rice , and all coarse grains like rye , barley etc-by each person in US is more than five times that of an Indian. An Indian gets to eat 178kg of grain per year, where as a us citizen gets 1,046 kg per year.
The figures are quite shocking but they are full of truth in fact, in per capita terms, us grain (FLOUR) consumption is twice that of the European union and three times of China. This figures are for the year 2007 and per capita grain consumption of US has increased over the last year. So we can say that US per capita grain consumption was 946kg per year which increased to 1,046 kg last year.
So George Bush it is just not the food grains but when it comes to milk consumption, in liquid form is 78 per litre in the US where as itis 36 litre in India and 11 litre in China.As far as vegetables oils are concerned it is 41 liter in US per person where as it is 11 liters in India per person. India mainly being a vegetarian country so the major source of carbohydrates and fats are mainly derived from the food grains and vegetable oil. US population consumes a lot of cheese, yogurt, butter, milk powder and chocolates where as an average Indian is away from all this goodies. Let us switch over to meat from wheat, as far as meat consumption is concerned US leads the world in per capita consumption by a meaty margin as far as beef is concern it is 42.6 kg per person per year compared to 1.6 kg in India and 5.9kg in China.
And figures are equally alarming when it comes to poultry meat it is 45.4 kg per person per year compared to 1.9 kg per person per year.
Last but not the least are the African countries where the food grain consumption is merely 162kg per person per year. Such countries are far from the consumption of meat and milk products . I hope the very controversial remark by the US president that “Indians and some of the Asian countries are responsible for the global food crisis” has created to the whole feverish debate regarding the consumption of food and crisis.
In fact I am thankful to the US president for such a undignified remark as all the truth and figures has been poured out by the food departments and now the entire world”s population is going to be alarmed and will know very well where is the real Elephant in this regard and consuming a gigantic amount of food.

You are right, But there are some fact true which bush said.
It’s a fact that Indian middle class has improved wealth and living standard, and its true that the spending of an average Indian is gone up, but the spending on food is not. It remain the same as earlier, further the health conscious Indian middle class is reducing their diet.
Some more deep analysis on the world crisis ( food, inflation etc) made me to write down some more interesting facts. Infact it lead me to think on the hidden agenda of the superpower.
Does the international community have any idea on how much food grains going as Oil in US? Its almost 16-23% which is going in to this front, BUSH administration want to redirect media and its citizens attention from this and hide the fact that, it is responsible for the global food crisis.
I would like to reiterate my thinking on the whole world crisis.
As per the economic projections, the power of world is diverting from west to east. The so-called super power of the centaury has studied the implications and it wanted to retain the position of a super power in the coming century (at least one of the superpowers). The polices of the bush administration is mainly focusing on this front and its think tanks wanted an overall slowdown of the whole world economy to further implement its plans to retain super power status. It is a well-planned and properly executed plan to which the world had never had a vision.
The world is booming and the economies of other countries are growing rapidly where the US economy is going in to recession. To retain the $ supremacy and super power status, the only option left is to slowdown the economies at any cost. For this century, the oil is the spine of power and blood to the booming economy. If they want control over the oil which is the blood of the whole world they need to get power to control the heart (Middle East nations who produces the most of the oil ie, Saudi, Afghan, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, etc).

Iraq war
Afghan War
Iran War – which may happen
Restricting Iran – India – Pak – pipeline of gas. China may come in to join.
Control over Saudi, Kuwait
The theory is very simple: Take control of the oil production, Use the other methods to reduce the oil import.
By doing so, the impact around the globe is very high. If oil prices go up, cost of all products will go high including every thing from top to bottom. This will increase the inflation among all countries, ultimately it will reduce speed of economic growth overall world where the big bro can capitalize and try to improve its own economy and maintain the super power status.
How the oil price increases effect less for US: the food grain production is very high mainly wheat, if they divert the production to bio fuel, which is going on now, can control the import of the oil/ they can use it for a different way to improve the growth.
To divert the world from the cunning plan of crisis is to blame India or China. Thats what is happening for long and will continue till the world recoganize this.

this is totally bullshit comment by George Bush and Rice . Bush is trying to find a rice in bush. Everything said by such people should be supported by facts but he is such a jerk , to know exact facts.
