Doesn’t it sound familiar friends, the answer is “yes”. I suppose with most of us.
This was a childhood game played in our houses, buses, trains, rooftops, parties with friends, cousins, family and even with the domestic helper.
The setup is some what different, their might be a little change in the settings and the environment. The props are there and only adults or young adults come out to perform and play and its a competition now with money at stake and further, it’s now a launching pad for budding artistes of today who can also get instant acclaim. There are a whole lot of programs which came up like this one after Gajendra Singh started this popular show on satellite TV, I don’t remember how many years ago now.
It’s USP is definitely the great energy source, Anu Kapoor who had a tough foray into the film industry but with his talent has been associated with the show since the beginning and has changed nearly five female co-hosts like Durga Jasraj, Pallavi Joshi and others.
The basic layout of the program changes to keep the audience happy and the show travels to various cities to garner more and more popularity and TRP’s. This is an excellent platform for the struggling artistes to showcase their talent on the national and even international screen. Even the costumes of the contestants are not to be underestimated and they are presented in a very glamorous attire which makes it all the more catchy and obviously attracts more viewers.
The show by itself is very nicely sculptured and has been a dream for many to come.
