Beauty contests in India have become a rage since many Indians won the title in the national and international arena. Beauty contests in general and India in particular encourage young women to showcase their skills not only in terms of their physical beauty but inner beauty as well. Beauty contests serve to enhance the confidence of the individual and makes them adept in facing the larger world. Primarily because of these reasons, beauty contests have occupied a premier position in the world of events and competition. In line with the thought of exposing the youth of India to beauty contests, fashion and the media world, in their formative years, so that it leads to self discovery and possibly a career in this fast growing field, Fact Enterprise is organizing a beauty contest in India, for teenaged girls in India, aptly called “Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009â€. This is poised to be one of a kind beauty contest to be held for the first time in India, at par with international standards.
The beauty contest aims to discover young Indian talent from across the world and create a platform for them to display their personality, social and intellectual skills. The event “Fact Miss Teen India Contestâ€, which would be held in JUNE 2009, would expose the young girls of today to the intricacies of a huge competition and expose them to healthy competition in various categories, providing them with an opportunity to prove their worth to the world. The various competitions that will be held during the course of the entire program would be as shown 
Fact Miss Teen India 2009 is a platform that offers you an exceptional opportunity to display your Personality, Social & Intellectual skills Live on Television (70 countries worldwide) where you just might be that Lucky Winner who walks away with the ‘Fact Miss Teen India 2009’ Title!
• If you are between the age group of 15 and 19 and born between the years June 1990 to June 1994;
• And if you think you have what it takes this just might be your ticket to Stardom!
Auditions will be held in 11 leading cities i.e. Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkatta, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Indore, Shillong, Hyderbad and Chandigarh where a selection of 40 contestants will be made. You will be sent for an audition at a city nearest to you. The short listing of the applicants will be held before May 2009, followed by the reality show and the main event, in Mumbai. These centers can be changed by FACT ENTERPRISE LTD. by giving prior intimation to that effect. The candidate shall not have any objection to it. The Grand Finale of Fact Miss Teen India contest 2009 will be held in Mumbai. The shortlisted contestants will be invited to Mumbai for 15 days extensive Grooming & Training session conducted by highly skilled professionals. The final selection over these 15 days will be made by a panel of esteemed judges who are Achievers in their respective fields.
The auditions in Mumbai will be held 17 May at Next Gen Banquets in Andheri(W), Ahmedabad on 19 May at Taj Ummed at the Airport, Delhi auditions at the Hans, 15 Barakhamaba Road, C.P. and in Kolkata, auditions will be held on 21 May at Hotel Hindustan . The timings will be between 11:30 to 6:30. The judges will be Diana Hayden and Rocky S. Eight episodes will be telecast between 12 Jun to 4 th Jul on 9X channel with the main event telecast on 18 Jul. http://www.factmissteenindia.com/register.php is the registration form and a DD of Rs. 500 is required.
The Winner of Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009 will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.11 Lakhs, sponsored gifts and a 1 year modeling contract
The First Runner-Up of Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009 will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.7 Lakhs, sponsored gifts and a 1 year modeling contract.
The Second Runner-Up of Fact Miss Teen India Contest 2009 will be awarded a cash prize of Rs.5 Lakhs, sponsored gifts and a 1 year modeling contract.
