Bollywood has finally reached a stage where all the new-age filmmakers are casting big stars. Every Bollywood Producer wants a cast and director that will deliver a blockbuster. Bollywood Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has managed to get two very Talented Star Together. Sajid has signed Imtiaz Ali and Hrithik Roshan for his Next Film. Some Source says, “Sajid Nadiadwala is the biggest producer in Bollywood today. After Housefull, he will be making the Hindi remake of South superhit Kick starring Salman Khan. His mega venture with Hrithik and Imtiaz follows Kick.

Directors like Anurag Basu, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Kashyap and Vishal Bhardwaj all started out with movies casting “quality actors” (Irrfan, Kay Kay, Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah, Abhay Deol and the likes) but are now collaborating with the Khans, Kapoors, Kumars and Roshans.

Within weeks of Vishal’s tryst with Shah Rukh Khan — they are doing Chetan Bhagat’s 2 States — being announced, news has trickled in that Imtiaz is working with Hrithik Roshan in his next film. Imtiaz is now finishing Rockstar with Ranbir Kapoor and will start the Hrithik movie after that.

From the time he struggled to get his scripts off the ground, Imtiaz has been making an entire storehouse of screenplays and supposedly has 10 scripts ready to roll. Given the Jab We Met man’s way with words it was all but natural that Hrithik would like one of the scripts.

While the Hrithik-Imtiaz project is all hush-hush, sources say that,There has been talk of Hrithik Roshan and Imitaz Ali are coming together for the first time with Eros Pictures’ next. Sources inform that Eros International had signed Hrithik a couple of years ago for an English film, which they were planning under the banner of Carving Dreams. “As recession hit the industry, most of their films fizzled out and this venture too did not go forward as they never received a script that was good enough to suit the star. Eros had even paid the signing amount to Hrithik, which was not a small sum. The makers are still keen to go ahead with the film and are sure they can bank on Hrithik, as he is one of the most talented stars that we have in the industry,” say sources.

“A considerable time has passed by but Eros, it is said, is planning to go ahead with the project once again. Eros International, which is also co-producing Saif Ali Khan’s home production Love Aaj Kal, are so impressed with director Imtiaz that they thought he would be an ideal choice to direct a movie with Hrithik in the lead. Imitaz, incidentally had a good script ready and he approached them with it. The script was immediately approved,” adds the source.

Last heard, Imtiaz had already had a lengthy narration about the script with Hrithik. Apparently the actor loved the script and he has decided to do the film. The paper work is being done for the same project, adds the source.

Mr Moneybags Sajid Nadiadwala is the man producing the Hrithik-Imtiaz film. Says the producer: “I cannot reveal much right now. We are actively working on the film. But yes, the news is true.”
