Could extreme diets cause disease? Lately, increasingly more celebrities fall victims of weight loss.

In this article you will get to know about the hazards of extreme dieting and I have made an attempt to make the obsessed people aware of the hazards of extreme dieting.

“I’m on a very strict healthy pop star diet. I don’t eat bread, just vegetables and salad and fish. Eating like that is much better for me anyway but on Sundays I sometimes eat pasta.” meet lady Gaga.

If there’s anything special she does to maintain her figure, other than dancing a lot and possibly hitting the gym ?

Gaga’s answer was as blunt as it is potentially upsetting for the fans who look up to her. “It’s all about starvation! Pop stars don’t eat.” the singer reportedly said, hinting that she too is one of the many female stars who put good looks before health. If either of the above be the case, she should have shown more responsibility in choosing her jokes, because there are many impressionable girls who would follow her “advice,”.
Pop star Lady GaGa was hospitalized six times last year because of her yo-yo dieting, the “sick” chart-topper went on crash diets after gorging on crisps and cupcakes. And she once lost 20LBS between the first and final fitting of one of her outrageous outfits. GaGa reportedly admitted she had not eaten for weeks so she could squeeze into the gear.“When I say she was sick, I mean physically and mentally,” the Sun quoted Ciemny as saying. GaGa caused a storm last month when she admitted she occasionally used cocaine, claiming it helped her creativity. Normally we would be hesitant to believe something coming out of a tell-all book, but Gaga was forced to cancel four shows back in January after suffering from an irregular heartbeat and exhaustion.

We really hope this extreme dieting is a thing of the past. She’s worked so hard to get to where she is, it would be a shame to throw it all away.

Actress Kristen Johnston loses weight, and we are all amazed by it! The 40 year old star lost 60 pounds in the last year and is very happy about it.  With Kristen’s height of about 6 feet and her large built it seems that she did not really need to lose so many pounds.  whether she has turned anorexic or is suffering from any one of those kinds of illnesses.

“If you’re an actress, you’re always on one diet or another — it’s a way of life,” Baker says, sighing. She has suffered through juice-only fasts such as the master cleanse, attempted a raw-food diet and other food-restriction plans, popped phentermine and Prozac and tried drastically slashing calories. When she got pregnant, Baker was elated that she could buy previously off-limit foods. “The first two things I was going to indulge in were a sweet potato and a banana, and I remember thinking, That’s really messed up — it’s a big extravagant hurrah to have a banana now?”

It’s no good to follow extreme steps to become thin over night and look skinny.
