Sarah Brown, the wife of British Prime Minister may be friends with US first lady Michelle Obama but her credentials don’t seem to have impressed Hollywood superstar Demi Moore who has given her a cold shoulder on Twitter. Brown is a keen user of the social networking site and has Queen Rania of Jordan among her followers. But despite directing various tweets to the ‘Ghost’ actress, she was snubbed and did not receive a reply, reported Daily Mail online. The 45-year-old wife of Gordon Brown wanted Moore to publicise a book documenting the plight of women in the developing world, but the actress did not respond despite numerous messages. The 47-year-old actress who along with husband Ashton Kutcher, 31, was among the first celebrities to help make Twittering an international craze, has millions of followers on the website.
The cold treatment may not go down too well with Brown who boasts of a large number of celebrity friends including Paris Hilton and Naomi Campbell. In May last year she dined in Hollywood at a function in aid of the African First Ladies Health Summit, sharing a table with the two. Afterwards, Mrs Brown posted on her Facebook page, “Loved Paris Hilton…nothing about her public image prepares you for the first meeting. She’s a smart, caring, considerate person. Who knew?”

Hi Ragini,
Great post. Thanks for sharing the information. I’d like to talk with both of these ladies about our Global Hug Tour! Having celebs respond is sometimes a difficult thing as they must get approached 100′s of times each day.
I with Sarah luck in reaching Demi! In the meantime, I’m happy to help her cause through http://GlobalHugTour.com.
Thanks for the good work you’re doing in the world. I can’t wait to meet you in person!
Hugs,
Gail
