I would like to apologize for my too long hiatus from writing. Life has been hectic here in my Winnipeg HQ, and its about to get even more busy with a move to a new apartment coming soon. But even in my busy life, I have time for the important things… Specifically, my favorite TV shows. I enjoy this contribution on House at www.indiantvtoday.com since it happens to be a very favourite TV show of mine apart from CSI and Pushing Daisies

Several months ago, we barely scratched the tip of the iceberg with my first article about House the medical drama. I tried to give a brief overview of what the show is primarily about and as much about the first season as I could without spoiling it all for those who are insane enough to have NOT watched the show as of yet. If you are one of these people, by God stop reading this and go watch the show!! You have yet to really live!!

With the article you are about to read, I plan to touch on season two and it is my hope that I will not spoil anything for you. Do not get your hopes up for anything long and informative as my last two articles were (Sir Richard Branson of the Virgin Brands and Angelina Jolie), I’m afraid if I let myself ramble too much on this oh-so-loved topic of mine, I could give away to much and ruin it for you.

Now, on with the show (pun intended)!

House season 2 aired late 2005/early 2006 and was released on DVD mid 2006. This season focuses closely on learning much about House’s character – looking into his mind and his heart. We see House struggle with the person he is and see him go through Hell with the pain Stacey (his ex-girlfriend) caused to him physically and emotionally.

And now that Stacey works as Princeton Plainsboro Hospital’s lawyer, House is constantly reminded of this. But we see a new side of House as he labors to win back the love of his life from her husband, Mark – even going so far as to catch a rat in her attic for her. Amusingly enough, House adopts the rat and keeps it as a pet.

An interesting twist in the season comes with Wilson showing up one night on House’s doorstep, begging to stay until he finds himself a place. And with open arms we welcome the hilarity of placing the two friends under one roof.

Dr House M.D.The usual occurs throughout the season with House completely defying the Dean of Medicine, Cuddy and completely blowing away his team of top-notch Doctors with his (in my mind) amazing diagnosis’ and all around awesomeness.

In an effort to reveal as little surprises I can, I will end this article here with one last thing; Season 2 ends with two great big bangs for House and a collective whimper from the audience.
