2008 has been a special year for Farhan Akhtar. His debut film as an actor, Rock On, captured the entire nation’s attention. And just as the year 2008 comes to a close, we get to see yet another avatar of Farhan Akhtar- this time as a talk show host. Farhan’s show Oye! It’s Friday  premiered last Friday (December 12) on NDTV Imagine. The special guest of honour were (Heartthrob, Action Hero, Greek God, Superstar) Hrithik Roshan, Neha Dhupia and also music’s latest it-girl, Hard Kaur.

Kicking off with a high voltage performance of hit music from his film ‘Rock On’, Farhan moved into his role as host with Hrithik. They discuss how he met his wife Suzzanne and his experience of meeting with Michael Jackson. Neha Dhupia’s performance is but average and the guys make fun of seeing her in too much clothes, so much so for being a sex symbol, Neha. Hard Kaur, India’s one and only female rapper sings her hits like ‘Move Your Body Baby’ & ‘Talli main Talli’. Also on the show was a very young, 11 year old Indian drummer Siddharth Nagarajan and an international duo of Olena and Vitali who perform nearly kidding magical act!

Overall a pretty interesting one hour program from him and must compliment him for another succesful venture after Rock On. Farhan you rock.
