INDIAN TELEVISION TODAY

If you think of it friends, it’s really strange and little disappointing when we talk of television these days. With so many channels flooded all over that too 24×7 hours, it’s not a easy task to provide entertainment, news and serials with exciting story lines for the audience by the television channels all the time.

Let us be considerate and appreciative about all the efforts done by the channels in showing lots of nonsense which is honestly very entertaining and lot’s of fun to watch. Say, we all enjoy listening and watching the meaty gossips about our favorite TV stars and Bollywood stars. Given a choice between watching a documentary film on a Sant’s life or seeing your favorite star in a love triangle in his real life, I am sure the later will be watched by most of us. If we say no then I am sure we are not being so honest about it.If you look from the different prospective their is hardly any quality TV watching it’s just the quantity that is being watched and shown. Television Serials are simply puking as the same story line, same star cast and on top of that same costumes are some where repeated in almost all the Indian TV Serials again and again. It is quite a torture for the viewers to watch such a monotonous stuff day and night, In the process we land up channel surfing most of the time. Very rarely, it happens that one gets to watch some thing really interesting and something you were hunting for. So it’s high time channels should shake up with new ideas and hire better creative people and they should spin and churn their greymatter for some fruitful results. (sorry if some script writer is reading out there to me) can’t help it.

We hope to do some substance TV programs coming in near future at least by the end of this century whether, it is news coverage, Television serials or what ever so on.

Three cheers for our little IDIOT BOX which keeps us glued.
