Kambakht ishq features some of Hollywood’s biggies like Sylvester Stallone and Denise Richards, It also includes some of the Bollywood’s hot tie like Kareena Kapur and our all rounder macho star Akshay Kumar. With such heavy bunch of talent but obviously the film is landing itself in the category of big budget films, one of the major attraction of the film is that it also showcases a lot of stunts by Akshay Kumar. Where there is a big budget and a lot of stunts, glamour cannot be too far behind and the glamour quotient in this film is added by Kareena Kapoor and her best buddy Amrita Arora! It’s a reasonable budget around Rs.45-50 crore. The film boasts of some power packed entertainment in those 2 hours and 15 minutes. The film is a remake of the 2002 Tamil film Pammal K Sambandam.

So what happens when the two people who hate each other the most meet at Simrita’s best friend Kamini’s and Viraj’s brother Lucky’s wedding ?…a wedding that both Viraj and Simrita are violently opposed to and desperate to stop.

Virage (Akshay Kumar) is a hit stuntmen in Hollywood. He is doing works that can not do other hero. In Virage’s dictionary no words like love or marriage. He thinks that the only one thing women are good. For Stunts he get good money, which is spent on the parties and fun on women.

Akshay Kumar believes in entertaining audiences even if his films come with an ‘illogical’ tag. He admits that his forthcoming ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ belongs to the same category.” I want people to come with their parents and children, munch popcorn while the movie plays, get entertained, have some nice lunch or dinner after the show ends and then go back home happy”.

‘See, for so many Hollywood or Bollywood films out there, you don’t ask around whether a particular scene or happening is possible or not. Look at James Bond movies - now don’t we see so many illogical things out there? But we are fine and rightly so because these films eventually entertain. You don’t search for logic there and in the same way, ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ too is an illogical film’, said Akshay.
