The latest sensation in India these days is all about the Great Khali (Dalip Singh). His craze is not limited to commoners but also among the celebrities. The little master Sachin tendulkar went all the way to meet the huge thing and Khali dear is yet to shoot for few Bollywood films also for which he will be charging RS2 crores. He is likely to attend IPL matches and meet few Bollywood actors. So he is all over.
The Great Khali is one of the largest pro wrestlers in history and the largest wrestler on the WWE roster. He is the current World Heavyweight Champion on the Smack down! brand, which he won on the July 20 (taped on July 17) edition of SmackDown! after winning a 20-man Battle Royal for the title which was vacated by the injured Edge.The Great Khali is often referred to as “The Strongest Man of India” and has made his country proud on the International Wrestling Scene. He is one of the very few Indians to make it to the International Professional Wrestling scene.
The Great Khali’s real name is Dalip Singh Rana, also sometimes said as Dileep or Daleep Singh Rana. Dalip Singh grew up in a very poor family but today he is a rich person. His physical structure is one to behold as he stands up at a gigantic Seven Feet Three Includes, which is his real height. He weighs four hundred pounds.
The Great Khali hails from the Dhirana village of Himachal Pradesh (India) and currently resides at Jalandhar in the Punjab State of India. He is one of the tallest and most powerful wrestlers ever to set foot in the World Wrestling Federation, with only Giant Gonzales (also referred to as El Gigante) being taller. The Great Khali has wrestled throughout the world, including Japan, where he is regarded as a popular wrestling icon.
