It is always a thrill to write about KOFFEE WITH KARAN , as it is my favorite talk show. As a matter of fact I was almost glued to the idiot box whenever I watch this most awaited piece of entertainment.
The host this time was the dashing and ever young and handsome and none other than Anil Kapoor and the cute Akshaye Khanna. Anil still has maintained himself in a terrific manner and claims to be still in his thirties when questioned by Karan (obviously joking). He reminds me of his first film Woh Saat Din in which, he was paired with the very beautiful Padmini Kohlapuri. He has worked with various heroines of the previous generation and seen ups and down of the film industry. He has come out with flying colors as a director as well,”
Gandhi My father is his baby as a director behind the scenes and the leading role is played by AKSHAYE KHANNA who is also a very dear friend of his. Surprisingly, Anil Kapoor has never been in any controversy and never ever has been linked with his female co stars and is fortunately leading a happy married life(touch wood).The guy is still admired by his fans and has a huge fan club to his name and still has all the enthusiasm in his field of work. At the same time he seems to be a thorough gentlemen and a warm person.
Coming to Akshaye Khanna personally, I like to watch him on the big screen and his films are very good. He has his own charm and charisma(minus his baldy look) He has also given some hit films and done some good work. Frankly speaking, I was taken aback by his body language and postures. He was through out busy settling down on the sofa set and he is little poor in expressing and communicating. (sorry for being so mean AK2 but you are still one of my favorite hero). Apart from this he is a innocent and a simple soul that I could make out while watching him. Anil also commented that he is very truth full and honest which is a rare breed in the film industry, although AK2 used to be very temperamental earlier. The guy was almost in tears listening to the self comments by his fans. I hope (yeh kushi ke aasu the).
Let us all do a little justice to their talent and hard work and watch the recent release GANDHI, My father. (must carry a time pass in the cinema hall) in case of doubts.
