As the title of the film itself speaks volume about love and also about the scenario of love, romance and dating  in the present century.The film has interesting star casts and seems to be a fun frolic film to watch on an ideal week end. It’s typical 21st century film. Love Aajkal stars Saif Ali Khan, Jai, Kashish, Deepika Padukone, Meera Rahul Khanna, Aditya Khanna. The film is interesting for all the generations to watch as love life of all the times has been highlighted.Veer and Jai have different strong opinions about love in life.
The film’s narrative style draws parallels between two love stories.  It is a story about three couples love in different generations which runs from 1911, moves to 1966 and then eventually culminates to 2005. The main attraction of the movie is the love story between Neetu & Rishi Kapoor which is the first of the three love stories and also different. one set in the 1960s and the other in the new millennium. Love Aaj Kal is a romantic comedy movie about a modern-day London based couple Jai (Saif) and Meera (Deepika).Jai (Saif) & Meera (Deepika) are modern day couple in London, who likes to lead a practical life to go along with the flow of life Life pulls them in different directions, which is a true test of commitment and they decide to be practical. They are very happy together but do not believe in tying each other down. Love Kal  Delhi, Calcutta – 1965. Veer Singh is struck by a thunderbolt when he sees Harleen for the first time. Soon after, he stands under a tree and swears that “is janam mein aur har janam mein… yehi meri votti banegi – Harleen Kaur.” He travels a thousand kilometers by train to stand under her balcony only to have a glimpse of her face. And yet not speak a word with her. Veer also wishes that she should her life partner in all his lives.

Veer does not understand how Jai can treat matters of the heart without passion, like a financial transaction. Jai does not understand how Veer Singh could have been so naive and silly about Harleen in the days of his youth. But as both stories unfold, we realize that the process of relationship might be different in different eras, but the experience of being in love remains the same. So there is the frolic and despair of modern living, the liberation and confusion. And there is the past – the times of innocence and compulsion. And there is distance, and the fondness that increases with distance. Gaps widen between two people, but bridges keep growing too.
This film will be great fun for all  those  families, who has grown up children (eligible for falling in love) as both the generations can enjoy watching the style of loving and exchange their opinions later.I suppose it will reduce the genereation gap as well as both the generations will respect each other point of view.Notes can be exchanged to get best in love.
