Madonna splurges on horse ranch

Pop diva Madonna has reportedly splashed 6 million pounds on a horse ranch spread over 30 acres horse in New York. The ‘Celebration’ singer bought the Wild Ocean Farm, situated in the posh Hamptons area of New York State, from designer Calvin Klein’s ex-wife Kelly, reported Contactmusic. “Madonna is thrilled the ranch is now hers!,” said a source. The farm is currently being used to train show horses, and Madonna was only allowed to buy the ranch on the understanding she kept it as a working equine centre. The 51-year-old singer is a keen horse-rider and was badly injured in a riding accident four years ago. Madonna is also believed to be interested in a 1.5 million pound adjoining plot of land and is making enquiries into buying it so she can build a mansion there.
