Hollywood films are minting money. Can you imagine 7 of the 10 top-grossers last year were extensions of famous film franchises, with spider man being the highest revenue generator. Spider Man3 has earned $336.5 million.second largest revenue earner in the list is SHREK THE THIRD with $321 million.
TRANSFORMERS came third in the list with the total revenue of $319.1 million. PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN is the fourth in the list of top grossing films with $309.4 million. HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX with $292 million.
