Miss Universe competition 2008

Another favourite event of the year is going to shortly going to commence. It’s the 57th annual Miss Universe competition in Nha Trang, Vietnam at the Crown Convention Center on July 14. The beautiful contestants from around the world have already arrived, and posed for photos in the hotel pool in brightly colored bikinis this week Diamond Bay Resort and Golf. Japan based Riyo Mori, Miss Universe 2007, will crown this years beauty queen on the 14th.

Diamond Bay is an in Vietnam, 10 minutes towards South of Nguyen Tat Thanh Boulevard and just 15 minutes away from The Cam Ranh Airport by car. The Bay is idyllic and is surrounded by the mountains and sea, to form separate zones. The area has mountains, hills, brooks, rivers and plains, to boast and serves as a beautiful tourist destination, especially eco tourism. Cool and temperate climate all year round makes the Bay an ideal destination.

” Jerry Springer the host of NBC’s hit summer show, “America’s Got Talent, and actress/singer Mel B will host the 2008 Miss Universe Pageant live on NBC (simulcast on Telemundo) from the Crown Convention Center in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam on Sunday, July 13th at 9:00 p.m. ET (delayed PT).

Melanie Brown, better known as Mel B, became a household name as “Scary Spice,” one of the members of the iconic girl group the Spice Girls. She has recently appeared at Broadway in the hugely successful musical “Rent.” Mel B is also working on her third solo album, slated for release in early 2009. Her newest project, “The Singing Office,” will premiere on TLC later this month, with Mel serving as Executive Producer and Co-Host. Additionally, she was a finalist on the fifth season of “Dancing with the Stars,” and has been a special events correspondent for “Access Hollywood.” Donald J. Trump and Phil Gurin of The Gurin Company will serve as Executive Producers for MISS UNIVERSE® 2008. I’m sure Miss India Simran Kaur Mundi is going to win.
