‘Girls Aloud’ singer Cheryl Cole is inspired by her mother, who inspired her to become a better person in life. Cole, who recently separated from her footballer husband Ashley Cole over his alleged infidelities, believes that her mother, Joan Callaghan, has a very positive outlook on life, Hello magazine reported. ”My mum’s a great person. When I was growing up, she was never somebody who commented on other women,” says Cheryl, pictured at the Big Weekend festival over the weekend. ”You know you hear women commenting on other women in a mean way? My mother was never like that. Everybody is lovely in her eyes,” the singer said.
