My Name Is Khan is an upcoming 2010 Bollywood film starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. It is directed by Karan Johar, with a screenplay by Shibani Bathija, and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Gauri Khan. The most popular couple of bollywood film industry who has given  super duper hits like DDL(Dil wale dulhaniya le jayenge) long back will be seen once again together  on the big screen after a big break.

My Name is Khan is set post 9/11 and focuses on the discrimination Rizwan Khan faces as he is a Muslim.’Rizwan Khan, a Muslim from the Borivali section of Mumbai, suffers from Asperger syndrome (a form of high-functioning autism complicating socialization). Rizvan falls in love with Mandira.who is also a single mother living in San Francisco. Despite protests from his family they get married and start a small business together. They are happy until September 11, 2001 when attitudes towards Muslims undergo a sea-change. When tragedy strikes, Mandira is devastated and they split. Rizvan is confused and very upset that the love of his life has left him. To win her back, he embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America. Rizwan is detained by authorities at LAX who mistake his disability for suspicious behavior. Following his arrest, he meets Radha, a therapist who helps him deal with his situation and his affliction. Rizwan then begins a journey to meet US President Obama to clear his name.
