A very interesting and cute competition which I came across while surfing is about small girls participating as lil angels called “Nanhi Pariâ€.
Doesn’t it sound good that small girls could also participate in a beauty contest. The visionaries of the competition to be held in May 08 of this year in
1. To create an institution and a tradition, which will spot and nurture the talented little girls of Indian origin to become complete women in their adulthood.
2. To be the numero uno beauty pagent amongst its chosen category, in
Their Background:
Noticing the vaccum in nurturing and advancing young talents, in our region, a group of matured and visionary entrepreneurs hit upon the idea of hosting- every year- a talent show for Young Kids and the result is “Nanhi Pariâ€- a talent show for girls in their pre-teen years. From a humble start in the year 2001 it has taken rapid strides and become a national event.
Nanhipari-2008 :
Nanhipari – 2008 is scheduled to be held from 2nd May 2008 to 4th May 2008 in Krishna Campus of KIIT Deemed University, Bhubhaneswar were the semi-finalist will be invited for the Final Round of Competition.

The organizers dream to maintain the uniqueness of this competition in the forthcoming years and to take this competition to such heights that the reigning “Nanhi Pari†would be known as the de facto “Little Miss

If one were to plot the growth of the “NanhiPari†movement, it would become crystal clear that this is going to be the event of the future. In the very short time span of just about 5 years it has already carved out a niche for itself. Where the Miss India competitions of reputed organizations or for that matter beauty pageant competitions of any nation are multi million dollar affairs, with such small budgets the NanhiPari parivar has already made a mark in this segment. What is more, like any other reputed institution it trades on strong fundamentals and sound organizational framework. We at “NanhiPari†believe, though the process of assimilating and inculcating the best practices of the world is far from over, we are on a strong footing on this count and that is what is driving us ever so strongly to reach to higher and still higher heights.
Well, I really think with such a nice competition lined up, you should be getting your ‘Nanhi Pari’ ready for the upcoming show.
