Feeling no IPL jitters this year, Bollywood filmmakers plan a bombardment of releases in March and April much to the delight of movie buffs. Last IPL season had seen a drought like situation at the box office as no major films hit the theaters, partly because of the standoff between producers and multiplex owners and also because the filmmakers were wary of clashing their releases with the 20-20 matches.

However, the situation has changed as audience will be treated to a pleasant mix of big budgets films and experimental cinema this IPL season staring from March 12 and going on till April 25. For instance, Warner Bros Pictures has decided to release four films in a row the first being ”Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge” on March 5, followed by Hollywood Film, ”Clash of the Titans” on April 2.

Then coming to the cinemas will be Riteish Deshmukh and Jacquelin Fernandes starrer ”Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai” on April 9 followed by Hindi animation film ”Bird Idol” releasing on April 23. “We are extremely excited to release not one but four films in this period where most distributors stay away.

We are confident that our films will appeal to all audiences and will make them laugh, cry, fall in love, cheer and most importantly be entertained!” said Denzil Dias, Deputy Managing Director (Theatrical), Warner Bros. Pictures, India.
