oillogo080608.gifI have just gotten back from a fiery discussion on oil price surge in Malaysia and writing an article to be examined under the eyes of public. Kindly allow me to start with the positive side of being in Malaysia and being Malaysian, it works as encouraging injections to our heart before we kick start a vehement problem discussion.

Like all of us have known since the formation of Malaysia, it is a country with well endowment of natural resources ranging from oil, timber, rubber, tin, rice, fruits, and consistently ranked high as a oil producer worldwide. We are fortunate to be exempted out from act of God ranging from earthquake, tsunami, fire, typhoon; etc in which I believe would be the foremost reasons the Chinese immigrants decide to settle a home over here in due to the war torn communist ancestry of China. It is a multiracial country, namely the aboriginals, Malays, Chinese, Indian and other immigrants.

Having separated from Singapore for 50 years, the vast difference in currency resulting sensible Chinese to relentlessly work hard and make give way to the domestic power that they are too poor and powerless to fight all adversaries with, worse, it may be resulting to a total opposite effect. For once, we suffered from May 13 1969 incident that taken many innocent lives. Nevertheless, none of us stop working, the establishment of 61 Chinese Independent High Schools provides as an alternative education system to suit domestic needs of the Chinese communities and other streams of educations too. It is done so without major political turmoil like in Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, and Indonesia.

For the past 50 years, the population of Chinese in which the backbone of the economy of the country has shrunk from 35% to 25% nowadays but yet is remaining strong in the business world. Finally, the global arena recognizes our effort by nominating Ex Prime Minister Malaysia Dr Mahathir Mohamad for Nobel Peace Prize 2007 Award in terms of managing diversity, foreign policy and his initiative on Criminalize War in Perdana Global Peace Organization (PGPO) in December 2005. In a purpose of self condolence or self flattery whatsoever, during a time when the world is not our oyster, we did manage to live through half a century with dint of our hard work.

will be contd……
