Plastic Surgery disaster

| February 20, 2011 | 3 Comments

This article is an eye opener to all those who are not satisfied with their God gifted beauty and want’s more and get into plastic surgeries. “Value for what you have”  In this article I have made an attempt to warn all those who get tempted to go under knife in the greed to look better and lands up in a big chaos. Please read this article before venturing into plastic surgery and think twice.

Indeed, beauty and its pursuit has lead many a man and woman to commit trifles as well as transgressions! Don’t get me wrong here! I personally don’t feel there is anything wrong with wanting to look younger and more attractive – the quest for youth and beauty are eternal! However, going under the knife for achieving these results may not always turn out pleasant. We can see many such examples of bad plastic surgery around us, especially among most celebrities who have been to cosmetic surgeons for nips, tucks, implants, lifts, veneers, etc.

Hollywood celebrities go under the knife in the pursuit of perfection. Instead of aging gracefully into an older version of the pretty person, some celebrities have tried to regain their youth with plastic surgery and ended up with a weird, lumpy face or botched breast implants.Botox injections, boob job (breast implants) and nose job are the most common celebrity plastic surgery procedures.

With fierce competition in Hollywood, some celebrities feel tremendous pressure to conform to a look-obsessed society’s standards of beauty or turn back time by going under the knife. With social stigma regarding plastic surgery vanishing more quickly than the California Condor, a nip here and a tuck there is becoming common. But what happens when this “quick fix” goes terribly wrong?

Some celebrities end up grossly disfigured in their pursuit of perfection – a mockery of their former selves. Let us take a look at some of the most (in)famous celebrity  disasters of plastic surgery and see what went wrong in each case.

The photo above is wealthy socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, dubbed “Cat Woman” by the press due to her feline appearance from extensive plastic surgeries. After her husband began an affair with a Russian fashion model, Jocelyn began undergoing a series of plastic surgeries, spending a reported $4,000,000 over the years.

This is how Wildenstein looked prior to having any work done:

It is unimaginable to me that a plastic surgeon would agree to surgeries this extensive and disfiguring, and I would question the ethics of any doctor involved.

Let us take a look at some of the most (in)famous celebrity  disasters of plastic surgery and see what went wrong in each case. One of the most famous cases of plastic surgery gone wrong, 48 year-old woman Hang Mioku from South Korea, became so addicted to plastic surgery that she was left unrecognisable after her obsession led her to inject cooking oil into her face. She had her first plastic surgery procedure when she was 28. Following operation after operation, her face was eventually left enlarged and disfigured, and the surgeons she visited refused to carry out any more work on her and one suggested that her obsession could be a sign of a psychological disorder. So Hang resorted to injecting cooking oil into her face. It became so grotesquely large that she was called “standing fan” by children in her neighbourhood – due to her large face and small body. As Hang’s notoriety spread she was featured on Korean TV. Viewers seeing the report took mercy on her and sent in enough donations to enable her to have surgery to reduce the size of her face. During the first procedure surgeons removed 60g of foreign substance from Hang’s face and 200g from her neck. After several other sessions her face was left greatly reduced but still scarred and disfigured.

The mother of famous actor Silvester Stallone, jackie  was also famous for claiming she can talks to dogs about the future, she also once set up a psychic hotline which would charge callers for advice. Now she’s relatively famous for what looks like a little too much plastic surgery, as she has tried everything: facelift, brow lift, cheek implants, nose job and, of course, lip jobs.

The list is endless especially from  Hollkywood such obsessed people spend their entire saving into reconstructed surgeryand land up finishing their high profile jobs and stardom. How can we forger the legendary pop God Michael Jackson.
