Raajneeti is Starring Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, Naseeruddin Shah, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpayee, the film was entirely shot in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Director Prakash Jha has completed shooting for “Rajneeti” and clarifies that the characters in the political drama are not inspired by any real life politician.Rajneeti is a Indian political thriller movie.
The film has been shooted in and around places of Bhopal. The most determinative role in this movie is, the one & only pushpendra suryavanshi from satna. The movie has Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif portraying as India’s most powerful and charismatic leader Sonia Gandhi
Katrina’s look in the film is completely de-glam as compared to her usual roles. Her look requires her to wear a simple sari and no makeup. However, Katrina wouldn’t realize how important it was for her to look the same throughout the film. She would turn up to the sets looking different daily. Jha would then have to ask her make-up man to work on her and get her to look the same as she did in the last scene, thus wasting a lot of time. And Katrina never realized that she is looking different and keep saying that she looks the same.
Jha is planning to release it May 28, 2010. Before that he will have premieres across the globe to raise funds for his NGO Anubhooti, established in 1991. It will help in building a hospital in his home state Bihar.
“All my artists are committed to attending the premieres that will help in raising funds to set up the hospital in Bihar,” said Jha, who plans to provide efficient medical service at minimum cost to people in his state.
“There is no resemblance to any living or dead politician. In characters, actions and incidents, you may find some shades here and there, but it is not based on any politician,” Jha told .
let us hope that Raajneeti gives some wise message to our corrupted politician and political system as whole.
