I am very delightful that nowadays the world has many women who shows their roles in all aspects. As a woman from a small island this progress has encouraged me to be persistent to achieve my dreams.
Let’s have a look on Angelina Jolie who was just appointed as the most powerful woman in the world. She is undeniably sexy and has everything that women want. She is adventorous with her the fact that she has a license to fly. She has a vision that the world should be a peaceful place where all nationalities are able to live together without fights and wars which motivates her to adopt children from all countries in the world. Angelina stated that she mostly contributed 50% of her income to help refugees. She was then appointed as UN Ambassador to influence all countries in the world to concern about the refugees. 
Apart from her personal affair with Brad Pitt, she is a woman who lives her life with dark experiences in the past that she is never ashamed to confess. She has proven that she does her job in acting seriously which made her win oscar and people really admire her modesty. It is the first time in my life I have seen a celebrity website justjared.com is full of positive comments about her and it is repeatedly. And now let’s move on to Oprah Winfrey. Her contribution throughout the world should be out of questions. Her power and her influence has made people of America support Obama. She has a very miserable past in which she had sexual harrasement by her family when she was 13 and got misscariage of her baby. One statement that I really put at the top of mind is when she said, ” I know from the beginning that I am destined for greatness.” She proves that and she is the first black America who change my mind to think that even minority can have the opportinity to change the world.
And we see Sonia Gandhi. My first impression on her is that she is under the pressure of something. She is not as outspoken as Oprah Winfrey or Michelle Obama but I can feel huge inner strength in herself that she delivers to her society. She was the widow of rajiv Gandhi, the grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru and the son of Indira Gandhi. She is originally from Italy and has been able to adapt with the lifestyle and culture of India. She had been the best friend of Indira Gandhi and proves herself as a modest and down to earth wife and daughter in law of a notorious politician that the Indian people respect for. We all know how Westerners sometimes see themself as a superior. Sonia Gandhi is the total opposite which eventually convinced people that she will be able to be the next Prime Minister of India.
She is able to connect with the people. As a devouted wife and daughter in low, she speaks less but understand what people expect in their leaders. Forbes Magazine appointed her as the most powerful woman in the world. After the assasination of her husband and her mother in law and also the critics which come from the opposition party about her place of birth, which I personally think very superficial, she declined her winning. This is honestly dissapointing to me but still I admire that she is able to convince her nations that she devouts herself to India and they keep supporting her and her son in the next selection.
A lot of women out there which are numerous to mention have shown us that there are no boundaries to be as great as we can as long as we are determined for it. Hard work, integrity, passion, and faith have lead these women to inspire other women to be the best they can be. Thank you to those extraordinary women who put visible efforts to make the world a better place.
