I saw it a couple of days ago and could not stop thinking and writing about it. Its amazing to see the trivialties of life of these four women who struggle it out with dwindling confidence in a movie! Don’t you agree? The series was amazing too with the movie similarly following the ploy. only there is more glamour and fashion which is generally attached with the big screen. A very good entertainment for the nearly two hours it filled the screen and leads us to wish fingers crossed for the sequel! Be prepared to cry!!! and laugh since its a delicious slice of life and relationships, rich with lessons many of us may have been through in real life… beautifully blended with sparkle and pizazz to make it one of those “I could watch it all over again right now” movies!
The film follows the continuing adventures of the series four main characters – Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda – as they live their lives in Manhattan. Stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, and Cynthia Nixon, while the film is written and directed by Michael Patrick King, who was the executive producer of the original television series. Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler and Jason Lewis are the women’s love interests. Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson (Dreamgirls) plays Carrie Bradshaw’s assistant, a new character introduced in the film. The film has apart from Carrie’s and Mr. Big’s role, her three friends as described here, Samantha, the sexpot; Charlotte, the sweet naïf; and Miranda, the rigid perfectionist.
Funny, emotional, and everything you expect from the show, except expanded for a theatrical audience.you’ll cry, you’ll laugh, you’ll get pissed…it’s an AMAZING movie! So get your CD/ DVD and watch the movie if you missed it earlier. Surely makes you wish you had friends like Carrie, Charolette, Samantha, and Miranda
