If you enjoy watching Bollywood actors in a form of package that too as pairs, this article will definitely be of your interest. In the coming Bollywood times, you will be watching some of the Bollywood biggest screen re union of the century. Yes that’s the fact, to start with the very obvious jodi (pair) Amitabh Bachchan and Goddess of Bollywood beauty Rekha is always the first preference of any film maker. Very soon they will be seen in a film titled ‘ Marma Yogi’‘.
The gorgeous and sensational couple was last seen together in a super duper hit film silsila’ a creation by Yash Chopra. There on screen jodi (pair) was a big hit and was admired by their fans all over the globe and after which several big wigs of Mumbai moviedom have tried in vain to get the couple together but failed to get them. The Sultry sex appeal of Rekha has always complemented the screen presence of Amitabh Bacchan. They created magic together on the screen as Rekha’s body language compliments senior Bacchan’s. On screen chemistry in films it is not just about looking good but there is much more then just looking good the couple has to be comfortable together with certain amount of ease while performing, convincing the audience and at the same time connecting themselves with the story line.
Indian Bollywood industry is full of such out standing couples like Rishi Kapoor and Neetu singh, Dharmendra and Hema malini, Raj Kapoor and Nargis who created mind blowing sensation in a old timer film shree420, Shatrughan Sinha and Reena Roy and as usual when it comes to Bollywood the list is simply endless. Coming to the more recent ones are Karishma Kapoor and Govinda, Madhuri Dixit and Anil kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan, Ajay Devghan and Kajol, Aishwariya and Abhishek . The very recent and current jodis ( pairs) are Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Akshay Khanna and Priyanka Chopra, and so on.
Interestingly, most of the on screen pairs have also become off screen pairs and gave anjaam (result)to their reel life in real life. Some of them have tied the nuptial knot like Dharmendra and Hema malini, Kajol and Ajay Devgan and those, who were not previaelaged enough to get married developed soft corners and romantic flings for each other and were handy in supplying meaty gossip news to the media and entertained their fans with their off and on screen romance.
The jodis (pair) is not only limited to hero and heroine but also two heroes together with their out standing performances created history like Dharmendra and Amitabh Bacchan,(sholay, chupke chupke) Amiitabh Bachhan and Shashi kapoor(silsila) are some of their super hit films together.
Soon Dharmendra and Hema Malini will be seen together in a film as they are reading a script for a film and Ajay Devgan and Kajol are also doing Karan Johar’s film ‘my name is khan”
No wonder the anxious film makers keep hunting for the right combination when they are coming out with new projects and new ventures. After all the film makers will try to recreate old screen magic in the present cinema ” old wine in a new bottle” Let us see how many of them are once again able to create magic.
