star-trek1230509JJ Abrams transfers the legendary Star Trek to the big screen.

The film starts somewhat unorthodox: while addressed primarily to the TV series fans, story is got from the beginning, from Kirks birth and the insurgency of Spock, to reach the first major battle between them which is the beginning of their famous friendship, leading them to explore space (the final frontier) up to its end. James Tiberius Kirk (Chris Pine), is daring, adventurous, seeking a new purpose in life. Spock (Zachary Quinto), is the first of a kind who admitted to Starfleet Academy, has grown up in a world where his origin – speckled Voulkan (by half) – terrestrial (by the other half) – has been constantly defining him as different, having almost no human feelings at all. Those two diametrically opposed characters Kirk and Spock, will be the elite members among: the captain Christopher Pike (Bruce Greenwood), the doctor Leonard McCoy (Karl Urban), the chief Montgomery Scott (Simon Pegg), communication responsible Uhura (Zoe Saldana) and the 17 year-old wonder-boy Chekov (Anton Yelchin). All of them will be the crew which will staff the most advanced spacecraft, the USS Enterprise.

star-trek123050912Kirk is wild and rebellious. Spock has been grown up without a father, half human half alien (such a sentimentalist to other aliens as to not accept him as one of their kind) so different than humans as to be stigmatized as an alien. The two heroes seem to have no emotional shelter thus classified in the army, where discipline and teamwork falls as veil and covers their personal issues. After Star Treks first flight things seem to get hard, full of risks, so one will get the courage to decide and the other one the intelligence, and that will be the point which will define them as twin leaders …

star-trek1230509123«Star Trek» is full of extremely good visual and sound effects, action (camera is on follow of people who run all the time). Abrams directed the film very well, giving out plenty of humorous moments that color those grayish characters, bringing us so close to them, making us worry about them every time aliens fire to rip the flesh of the USS Enterprise. Key players act very well, without exceeding the human existence. Best acting paradigm is the evil threatening alien wounded patriot who comes from the future to destroy the universe into the mouth of the picturesque, who seems to act so well balanced becoming even likeable, after revealing his motivation. Star Trek is a nice comeback, full of action, enjoying, pleasant, letting the new audience in. It is comprehensive to everyone, even to the ones who may not know anything about the (huge fan club) Star Trek TV series.
