It is not all that easy to survive in a metro without money, that too in Mumbai. If one wants to make it big in the starry world, life is full of challenges and compromises. Thousands of starry eyed hopefuls arrive in the city with dreams in their eyes from all over the country and various cities. Planet Bollywood does give them hopes but at the same time unlimited struggle is also attached with their dreams, because nothing comes free in this ruthless world. The roller coaster ride is not all that smooth and gentle for the young girls. In order to get a break in TV serials or for the more daring ones into films, one has to face frustration and depression combined with high aspiration levels. All this makes the life difficult and impossible for these young aspirants and drive all this pretty young ones  in a rage of fit. As a result,  they do get exploited most of the time at the hands of production houses and the story of the casting couch begins. This turn leads people at times to a new journey of crime, murder, suicide and desperate measures.

A single, young woman often finds the going very tough in Mumbai or any other big metro in that matter. Struggling for food, shelter and roof becomes a tough challenge for the new comers and some where their dream is lost and shattered mid way. As a result, they have to often counter Indecent proposals made to them by film makers, casting agents and some times even photographers. Youngsters are mostly misguided and exploited. If you are intelligent, you have better chances of survival in such places. More than anything else, due to the lack of counseling, emotional support and financial support, people break down and give up or take wrong ways on this isolated planet. Unfortunately, for most of them the big breaks hardly see the light of the day. This gives rise to more cases like MONICA SUSAIRAJ, NEERAJ GROVER, NAFISA JOSEPH and many more.

As a matter of fact Mallika Sherawat had to sell her ring with a heavy heart in order to survive in Mumbai as she ran out of money. Such instances are not rare. Making ends meet with a slowly depleting bank balance is nightmarish.
