I feel between The Dark Knight and The Tropical Thunder, it would be a good idea to watch The Dark Knight as this movie is more in action and creates that sense of aura which has always been associate with a superman or a batman movie. In the movie, Batman has to take on the war against crime once again. Ben Stiller can decide upon the fact that movie direction and acting are two different things altogether and things are best done when left to the experts. The movie with Batman is good with the normal fight scenes covered in extreme darkness all around. Batman’s help in the movie in the form of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, is good enough to dismantle the criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The trio are pretty effective in maintaining the regular criminals at bay however they need to get over the chaos unleashed by a criminal mastermind known to the citizens of Gotham as The Joker. This too after only a year has passed after the dreaded Ra’s Al Ghul’s plan to have Gotham eliminated and the mysterious disappearance of Dr. Jonathan Crane AKA the Scarecrow, where in the city was nearly plundered with his toxins.
Bruce Wayne, the Batman, has to continue the seemingly endless effort to bring peace and justice to his fav city, Gotham, with the help of Gordon and Dent. But when Batty is around, problems can’t be far behind. This is where the Dark Knight faces a rising psychopathic criminal called The Joker, whose eerie grin, laughter, and inhuman morality makes him as dangerous than what he has yet to unleash. It becomes an agenda to Batman to stop the mysterious Joker at all costs, knowing that both of them are in an opposite line. He doesn’t seem to have enough answers for the same however he is still the hero and he cannot see the world plunge into darkness. He represents the symbol of hope and uses his own shadow to bring peace and order.
Its setting so close to the end of Batman Begins creates a Batman struggle against the dreaded criminal, the Joker nearly very deeply personal, forcing him to “confront everything he believes” and improve his technology to stop him. A love triangle develops too between Bruce Wayne, Dent and Rachel Dawes. Overall a much better plot than the other movie that is charting the top of US box office reviews recently.
