the_proposal0116060911Sandra Bullock has proven to the world that she is still the most hilarious actress in Hollywood. With her co-star Ryan Reynolds, this movie is very entertaining yet touchjes my heart deeply. It starts with Margareth, a Canadian editor with class but super vexatious, anti social and heartless woman in New York city. She has a personal secretary, Andrew who really wants to be promoted as an editor after suffering for three years dealing with this woman. On one day Margareth has to fire somebody due to his irresponsible behaviour. He is extremely upset and yells at her in front of other people. With her mean attitude, she insists on her decision and that makes all the people in her office against her.

the-proposal1606091At the same day, her employer calls her and finds out that Margareth has ignored the warning of US immigration laws to renew her visa. The immigration officer comes down to her office and tells her that she is to be immediately deported. The worse thing is that her employer will replace her with the man that she has fired in her position. Margareth is known for a woman who doesn’t takes no for an answer, she thinks quick and she has a very tricky idea using her personal secretary Andrew to help her get rid of this situation. Out of the blue, she tells her employer and the immigration officer that she is getting married to Andrew. Andrew is shocked and the immigration officer does not believe her immediately. It is too obvious that she made a strategy not to be deported. He asks them to do an interview to really prove that they are a couple.

the-proposal160609Margareth and Andrew eventually go to Sitka to announce their wedding altogether with the celebration of Andrew’s grandmother birthday. A lot of things happen and they find out that they are in love with each other. Margareth was very thrilled that Andrew has such a beautiful family and she feels bad that she used him for her importance. On that weekend, she also makes a confession to Andrew that she is basically a very lonely woman who seeks for family because since she is in New York city, she does not have anybody she can rely on. And the most thrilling part is that she wanted to cry when the guy that she fired called her bitch. This movie is quite predictable with the happy ending just like the other romantic comedy movie. But Sandra Bullock plays her role really well and Ryan Reynold is very cute and stunning. They have got such a chemistry that deserves box office  success this year.
