Are you in the habit of allowing yourself to dream? Do you allow yourself to look into your heart and see your truest desires, your deepest wishes, your biggest aspirations? Do you go for it when you want something or, do you think to yourself that you’ll never get it because, because, because and so you shut down the very idea of what it is you want? (I’m sure your list is long for the reasons why you can’t get something you want. I’m also pretty sure your reasons make perfect sense to you, it couldn’t be any other way, right?)
I used to go about life never really paying attention to how my thoughts were creating my reality, nor did I even realize my thoughts were creating my reality. My most limiting belief at that time (well, one of them) was that I was “stuck†living in my 900sf 1969 mobile home, there was no way out. This belief, this thought, was at the basis of many of my decisions. Well, all that has changed now – because I watched the movie “The Secret†which gave me a completely new outlook on life. I now live in a 3,000sf home – just three years after my first viewing of the movie. It’s like a fairy tale, but it’s actually the result of hard work, changing my thoughts and beliefs, manifesting the life I want.
The ‘secret’ is the law of attraction. You can have, do, and be anything you want. Anything. You just have to ask for what you want. You have to be very clear about what you want. You have to be ready to receive it, on a cellular level, to feel it in your being. When you have clarity, when your emotions are activated, and when you feel that you deserve what you are asking for, then it will be delivered to you. You may have to wait a while, but there’s nothing too big or too small for the universe to handle. It starts lining things up for you when you get clear. But be careful – it lines up what you don’t want also. It just depends on what you give your focus to, where you spend your feelings, so start noticing your thoughts and pay attention!
Learning to live this way takes practice – or you can change in an instant by making the decision to do so. Most people, though, need practice to change their beliefs, but it is only their beliefs that make this so. I have watched ‘The Secret†a bazillion times in order to change my thoughts and create new habits. Everything you need to get started changing your life is in that movie, if you are careful to study every detail.
I do know this. If you start changing the way you think about things then your life will begin to change. I guarantee it. It is YOU that must do the work, though. No one else can do it for you.
