They are the most popular faces on the Indain Television and are admired by most of the Indians. They deserve a big round of applause. As a matter of fact their lovely pictures can be seen on the left top of INDIANTVTODAY page.

Smriti Zubin Irani:

This lady has started her carrier  in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi which not only changed the face of TV soap opera in India but also the fortune of Balaji Telefilms. She rose to top playing the character of Tulsi, wife of the Virani family. Born and raised in a Delhi based family, Smriti’s father was a businessman and mother was a popular Bengali actress, Tripti Mitra. She was the eldest of three sisters. At the age of 18, Smriti told her father that she wanted to come to Mumbai for work. In 1998, without anybody’s knowledge, Smriti Irani entered in Miss India contest and fortunately, made it to the top five. In the competition, the dress she wore was designed by famous dress designer, Manish Malhotra. At that time, she borrowed Rs. 200,000 from her father promising that she would return the money. Desperate to clear her loans, she did various odd jobs. In the meantime, she worked as a TV anchor and did small roles in different TV serials. Her luck changed after she was called by Ekta Kapoor to appear inKyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Saakshi Tanwar:

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii are the two trademark serials of Balaji Telefilms. These two television serials were immensely popular and can be referred as milestones in the history of Indian Television drama. The way Smriti Zubin Irani found success with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Saakshi Tanwar also became a star of Indian television for her character of Parvati Bhabi in Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii. Born and brought up in Rajasthan, Saakshi Tanwar studied at Lady Sri Ram college in New Delhi University. From her college days, She admired acting, Saakshi was the secretary and the president of the dramatic society. Saakshi first started her career as a TV anchor in a Doordarshan film song program titled, Albela Sur Mela. However, it is her character in Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, the loving, caring, dutiful wife “Parvati,” that made her popular as an actress. Presently she is coming in a very popular show BALLIKAVADHU and is doing an excellent job and full justice to the demand of the character.

Shweta Tiwari:

Another major Balaji Telefilms production, KASUATI ZINDAGI KI, turned Shweta Tiwari into a major TV star. The serial went on for six years starting from October 2001 to February 2008. In this TV serial, Shweta played the role ‘Prerna.’ Born in 1980, to Nirmala and Ashok Tiwari, Shewata was first spotted by a well-known director in a dance competition. She then landed with a role in a TV serial titled Kaleerein. Head of Balaji Telefilms, Ekta Kapoor, noticed her in a serial, Aane Wala Pal and approached her for her role in KaramKaahin Kissii Roz and finally, in Kasautii Zindagii Kii. Aside from TV serials, Shweta also worked in Hindi movies such as Abrakcadabra, Madhoshi, Din-E-Intezaar, Dahek. Shweta also appeared in a Bhojpuri movie, Hamar Saiyyan Hindustani. In 1999, she got married to actor and producer, Raja Chaudhury, and they had a daughter named Palak. The couple got divorced in 2007. Shweta has also done few Dance reality show and a reality shoe Is Jungle Se Muje Bacaho in which she had exposed interestingly.For quite sometime she is hiding from the scene and is hardly seen on the idiot box.
