Well there’s some good news for our upcoming film makers from all around the country as Ashok Amritraj, the famous yesteryear Tennis star and now Hollywood filmmaker starts on a journey along with PIX TV channel to find the best talent in our country and showcase them abroad in Los Angeles. Around 50 contestants will be screened in regional auditons and thereafter shortlist 18 of them to participate in Gateway, a reality show to be aired on PIX. The last date is Dec 20 and most of the final work would be at Mumbai. Well they promise a grand prize ofsomething which even money can’t buy. The winner gets a chance to spend about two months in LA at Hyde Park Entertainment and learn film making with Ashok himself. Sony Entertainment Television would also get involved thus in the entire game show.
Well with so many news reports coming in that the latest Shah Rukh Khan flick ‘Om Shanti Om’ collecting more moolah than any Hollywood movies in recent times, I guess it’s a sort of homecoming for a lot of Indians including Ashok as India is today the place where the world wants to be. Don’t you guys agree?
