The nonstop global promotional tour for Mission: Impossible—Ghost Protocol has officially kicked off, and you know what that means: the barrage of shots of Tom Cruise it up in a string of exotic locales has begun! First up: the Taj Mahal.
Cruise touched down in India over the weekend for the Mumbai premiere of his globetrotting movie. And where better to drop by on his travels—and his first-ever trip to the country—than the Taj Mahal.

Hollywood superstar Tom cruise this weekend made his first visit to India for the red-carpet screening of his latest action-thriller flick,” Mission Impossible Ghost protocol” in Mumbai. It was actor’s lifelong desire to make a trip to India which this weekend came true. Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor accompanied Tom Cruise, whose also Tom’s co-star in the movie.
Tom Cruise expressed his feelings while touring the iconic, white-marble Taj Mahal mausoleum in Agra that he is “very excited” about being in the country and for the scheduled fan screening of Mission Impossible 4 Ghost Protocol which is days ahead of its world premiere on Wednesday.
For the red-carpet screening Cruise joins Indian star Anil Kapoor this Sunday in Mumbai. Tom plays the role of a secret agent Ethan Hunt in the latest iteration of the ever popular action thriller, while Anil Kapoor plays an Indian business tycoon.
So, has Tom been bitten by the Bollywood bug? You might be surprised!
“I love watching Hindi movies,” he told reporters. “There are many Hindi movies that come out every year, but I do watch a few of them. [If offered a role] I would never say no. I would love to do it.”
So what’s Cruise’s next stop? Barring any unforeseen pit stops (always a possibility with the fan-pleasing star), Cruise is expected to touch down in Dubai, where he will reunite with the MI4 cast for the world premiere.
