First of all, I would like to share my personal sentiments regarding my favorite and un forgettable heroine whom I loved so dearly, secretly and sincerely and admired her during my process of growing up from a little girl to a woman. As far as my views are concerned I had never considered any Bolly beauty parallel to my most lovely Praveen Bobby till date. In true words, I am a sincere fan of Praveen. I always enjoyed her movies, watched her photos in media and was always curious to read more and more about her and wished always good for her as my gut feeling said that she was a good soul.
As I grew up I was sad to know about her mental disability and the further harsh blow of boll wood cruelty on this innocent actor. Some where I wished if I could do any thing for her and I moaned when Praveen Bobby gave up with the life and she lost trust in people and led a lonely and shaky life more then her physical departure from this world. After all it is also her tragic end that makes me remembered with a heavy heart.Praveens journey started like a fairy tale but ended in a horror film. She was a bombshell of her time and every male heart pumped in excitement Seeing her off the screen and on the screen. She started her career with the film CHARITHEEN and a star was born overnight and she was a competion to Zeenat Aman and she was deadly when she danced with the tunes of RAAT BAAKI BAAT BAKI and JAAWANE JANEMAN from the film NAMAK HALAL
She was in true sense bold and beautiful and boldly lived in with Danny Dengzongpa, Faced the media in the conservative 70s and flaunted her affairs with Kabir Bedi. Mahesh Bhatt. She was a loner and considered her staff her family and cooked for them and bought gifts for them and pampered them like her own family. At the peak of her career she left with her boyfriend Kabir Bedi for US as he was shooting there and relations soured between them and her mental problem triggered.
Praveen Bobby suffered with schizophrenia and also suffered various insecurities and a complex with Protima Bedi. Praveens emotional turmoil increased, the film industry continued to worship the troubled and love starved diva. It is very clear with the fact that when she returned from US after the breakup with Kabir , she gave hits like SHAAN, SHUAAG, LAL PATTAHR and every body wanted to work with her in spite of her erratic behavior and unpredictable behavior due to her schizophrenia problem and she was very depressed and a loner in spite of her career zooming up.
There was a time when her illness increased she would consider every body her enemy and in her last days she would shut herself and finally her mental illness deteriorated and she could not recover and she disappeared and when she returned she was far away from her sexy self and had put on weight.
When she died she was alone and no body knew about it and her sudden departure also departed her dreams with her.
REST IN PEACE PARVEEN.
