UK-based Catherine McQueen in India is another celeb visiting us

She played a miniscule role (the Russian model in the Ice Palace) in the 2002 Bond film Die Another Day, but UK-based Catherine McQueen couldn’t have asked for a better start. The Scottish model and TV presenter, better known for her talent at the turntable, said that “I have been to India many times, and I love the country and the people. So, when I was offered the chance to come back and DJ, I jumped at the chance, who will then head off for performances in Kolkata and Goa. While it’s been over five years since her appearance in the Bond film, McQueen says that was definitely one experience she won’t forget. “Working in a Bond film was fabulous. It definitely adds to your profile that you have been a part of legendary franchise like James Bond,” she says.
So, what was it like working with former Bond Pierce Brosnan? “He was very charming. He was very chatty with everyone and actually in real seemed much like his character in the film,” she recalls. As for Halle Berry, the female lead in that film, McQueen really didn’t interact with her, but says, “She has the most amazing smile that really light up the room.” The celebrity DJ’s more recent claim to fame is the dance track Time After Time with Koishii and Hush, where she sang the vocals. It reached the no 15 spot on the US Billboard Charts in 2007. “I’ve done the vocals for another dance track called One Desire with Koishii and Hush. That should release soon too,” she reveals.
