Who Is the next King in the Bollywood Kingdom?

Indian Bollywood industry is booming with superstars and there is a quiet tussle for the crown among the super stars. When questioned they all sound very humble and pretend as they don’t care but some where inside the Bollywood heroes aspire to see themself at the top.
Now the question is who is Bollwood’s reel King? The answer is not all that simple as Indian industry presently is ruled by so many kings Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Some still voice their opinion for the ever green Amitabh Bachchan who is a strong contender and going stronger at 67.
SRK with two major blockbusters Om Shanti Om and Chak De! India has proved his worth and interestingly, has many more interesting projects in the pipe line. Shah Rukh has to face a tough competition from action hero Akshay whose recent film Singh is King is considered as the biggest hit so far in the year. Coming to Aamir who is undoubtedly an actor with lots of substance has proved himself in the film Taare Zameen Par and on top of that his latest hair cut is already a style statement amongst the youngsters.
The shirtless superstar Salman Khan is no less than his counter parts and can be seen in God Tussi Great Ho. This film might not be a big grosser, but the handsome hunk has a lot more in his kitty.
So who is going to be the next King is quite an debatable topic for the industry and to decide the ruler of the kingdom is not all that easy task. By sheer mathematics Akshay Kumar tops the chart, followed in close tandem by Sharukh, But at the same time a hit or a flop might change the sweep stakes completely.
I think it’s high time Bollywoodies should not wonder and get into the rut of number 1 and worry about who”ll rule the screen but work hard on making better Indian films which can have an international standing.
