This variety of reality shows, if at all aired on Indian television, will definitely fetch high TRP’s to the interest of the channel. A reality show of this stature will bring turmoil and eruption on the present scenario of Indian television. Although this show will be far ahead of it’s time seeing the present mental age of Indians.I don’t think it will go down the drain with the Indian audience. Yes something similar to this can be structured out for Asian flavor and Indian minds.

Any ways, let’s up to date with the real reality show going in the west which is a super duper hit all over the world.

The women are expected to follow the house rules for the first week–sticking to the cleaning, cooking and child-rearing schedule set by the original woman of the house. The new wife can then lay down her own set of rules the following week. The UK show, which debuted two weeks ago, has become a ratings winner for Channel Four and has already been signed on for a second season.
While they swap spouses the women don’t actually sleep with each other’s partners. “It’s a good title,” said Michael Davies, one of the show’s executive producers, “but it’s got nothing to do with swinging ’70s wife-swapping parties.”

Reality series in which two families swap mothers for ten days. During the first five days, each woman will learn and adhere to the rules of her new household, but in the second five, the women will become the rule-makers and dictate the methods of operation for the household.

wife swap
Women swap husbands, kids and homes for 10 days to gauge the effect of changes on both families and the lessons learned. Confident that the Brit hit-inspired concept would be successful, ABC, months before the show’s premiere, cooked up `companion’ specials that exchanged husbands, bosses and even vacations. Equally sure of the success was Fox, which launched a quickie rip-off titled `Trading Spouses: Meet Your New Mommy.’ ABC has announced Wife Swap’s fourth season, which will continue chronicle two families living different lifestyles. Wife Swap is produced by RDF Media Group and executive produced by Wendy Roth, Stephen Lambert and Michael Davies.
This show definitely helps children and husband to know their mom and wives better and at the same time the mom can also perform her duty of running a family more efficiently and very well find out her minus points and plus points.
