Most of the TV channels in India are running after the reality shows either based on dance performances or singing competition, comedy performance, real life stunts and so on. Unfortunately, very recently a participant was severely affected had partial paralysis as she was scolded and criticized by the judges just because she gave poor performance on that particular episode of reality show. As a matter of fact, the judges did not bother to console her or visit her, when she was admitted for treatment. We can not solely hold the judges responsible for such incidents as parents are also equally responsible as parents get over ambitious and do not play any role in counselling their children in a positive way.
Is it necessary to continue such shows. ?
One more show which is soon coming on ‘Star One’ channel is named ” Zara nach ke dikha” which will be full of entertainment and is based on fun and frolic . I hope this show will be u nlike the previous reality shows and will be light on the mind too. Slated to hit the screens in mid-July, the bi-weekly big ticket show is a dance competition between boys and girls. In the girls team, the celebrity contestants include Delnaz Paul, Mouni Roy, Maninee Day, Rupali Ganguly, Karishma Tanna, Jennifer Winget and Sweeni Khare. Ali Asghar, Amit Tandon, Bakhtiyar Irani, Manish Goel, Chaitanya Chowdhury, Vikas Sethi Gaurav Chippra and Amey Pandya will participate from the boy’s team. Eight celebrities in each team will prove their strength against each other. The first day will be a ‘performace episode’ for one and half hour while the second episode will be a ‘challenge episode’ for one hour.
The Boys v/s Girls reality-show on ‘Zara Nach Ke Dikha’ Star One took a new turn at the Sports Bar when the participants challenged each other in the ring recently. Karan and Shweta hosted the evening in the ring and they encouraged all participants to get into the ring for a fight to the amusement of the audience. Actress Malaika Arora and Chunky Pandey are the judges.This show will start from July 14.Karan Singh Grover, TV actor going to host the show.
Each ‘performance episode’ will have seven different performances across both teams wherein the jury will decide one winner. For the weaker team, the challenge episode will give an opportunity to bounce back. Until the last episode there will be no eliminations.If the weaker team accepts the challenge and performs better, then they get double points. These points will be added up till the last episode to decide the winner.
This show sounds quite exciting and will be a change for the viewers as they will get to see something different from the old dramatic reality shows and saas bahu sagas and at the same time this show will also be featuring some young and energetic faces of the Indian Television.
Lets keep our finger crossed and hope that this show also does not turn out to be a big disappointment like most of the reality shows these days.
